TranslateHer provides AI-generated relationship, dating, and social guidance for informational and entertainment purposes only. The AI persona "Lauren" is trained on recorded conversations and material from a real individual, but responses are generated by artificial intelligence and do not constitute professional advice — including but not limited to legal, medical, psychological, or safety advice. The AI has no ability to verify facts about any third party you describe, assess real-world danger, or evaluate the specific circumstances of your situation.
You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on guidance provided through this service, including decisions to meet, contact, or interact with any other person in person or otherwise. Exercise your own judgment and ordinary caution at all times, particularly when meeting someone new or in an unfamiliar setting.

The Services, including all content, features, design, and the "Lauren" persona, are owned by TranslateHer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written permission.
The Services rely on third-party service providers, including Anthropic (to generate AI responses) and Meta (for advertising). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of these third parties. Your use of any linked third-party service is subject to that party's own terms and policies.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRANSLATEHER, ITS OWNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TranslateHer and its owners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Informal Negotiation. If a dispute arises between you and TranslateHer, we encourage you to first contact us at john@storyfarm.com so we can attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve any dispute within thirty (30) days of receiving notice.
Binding Arbitration. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and TranslateHer agree that the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
Class Action Waiver. You and TranslateHer agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this dispute resolution section shall be null and void.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
